FAQ: Why does my N8900 power supply not meet the readback specification when I turn it on?

In order to meet the specifications the power supply must be operating at above 2% of rated voltage and above 1% of rated current. What is happening is that initially, there is no load on the output, and the power supply is output is varying at a very low duty cycle. As soon as you increase the output voltage and add some loading, the output will stabilize.
